Tom Kha Thai Asian Bistro has carved a niche for itself in Fort Collins, serving authentic Thai cuisine with a delightful twist. Nestled in Old Town, patrons rave about the exceptional customer service as a defining feature—consistent praise from visitors like Kevin Edwards and Erin Cardona highlights the friendly and attentive staff.
What really takes center stage here are the dishes. From the yellow curry and drunken noodles to the acclaimed summer rolls—every dish is infused with vibrant flavors, as Maddy and Merri Gibbs noted. Portions are generous, making it equally satisfying for those who dine in and those who opt for takeout.
An interesting observation is its popularity during lunch hours, catering to both locals and visitors alike. As Dave emphasized, the spicy Gra Pow and Yellow Curry Chicken are must-tries for spice lovers. The restaurant strikes a balance between affordability and quality, giving diners great value for their money.
With its inviting atmosphere and high-quality ingredients, Tom Kha Thai Asian Bistro is not just a restaurant; it’s a local gem worth exploring for any Thai food enthusiast.

A good Thai option in Old Town Fort Collins. Excellent customer service, every single time. The food is delicious, especially the curries and appetizers. Veggies are always very fresh. (I don't know if I would recommend the noodles unless you ask for extra sauce.) Like many restaurants in the area, the prices aren't cheap but it's totally reasonable for the high quality of the service and food. There's decent street parking in the area if you are willing to walk a couple of blocks, or there's a paid garage. It's also like a block from the downtown transit center (bus station). The times I've been there, it's been busier during weekday lunch than during dinners. It seems like they do a high volume of takeout. If you get takeout, make sure to tip! Just because you didn't eat in doesn't mean people didn't work hard to get you that food.

We typically order carry out from Tom Kha and are always so impressed. I especially enjoy the yellow curry, drunken noodles, and broccoli chicken. Everything we eat there has a lot of flavor and the portions are generous.

The summer rolls were extremely good. The presentation was better than other Thai/Asian places I’ve tried locally. I had Pad Thai & the portion sizes were large. I would recommend this little gem to others.

This is our go-to Thai restaurant in Ft Collins. Have been many many times and love it. Best Thai we’ve ever had. We like it spicy and my wife and I always get the Gra Pow and Yellow Curry Chicken dishes level 4 hot to split. Staff is friendly, very attentive and efficient. Place is easy to just stop in and eat. HIGHLY recommend, especially if you like spicy.

What an amazing experience. The food was excellent. The restaurant was spotless, service was attentive and on point. If you like fresh Thai dishes you have to give this place a try. Drinks: Blueberry Mojito Appetizers: Fried Oysters, (out of this world fresh) Rolled in bread crumbs fried to a delicious golden brown. This is excellent for a first-time oyster experience, served with wasabi dipping sauce Coconut Shrimp, (Very meaty shrimp) Crispy shrimp tossed in coconut, served with sweet chill orange dip. Gra Pow, This is a very spicy and delicious home style stir fry. Minced chicken breast sauteed in a spicy garlic. Khao Soi Thai Creamy curry noodles, topped with carrots, bean sprouts, cilantro, fried shallots and cabbage, very mild spicy. Dessert: Coconut Ice Cream Final thoughts, The cleanliness of the restaurant just amazed us. The bathrooms just as nice. We will be back to try more of the menu very soon.

Apple Maps said that the closing time for the restaurant would close a half hour later (10 pm) than it actually closed at 9:30pm. When we arrived at 8:40 we were concerned we wouldn’t get to enjoy dinner due to our time of arrival. But the host/waiter Yuki gave us a table and quickly put in our order. She asked us how spicy we would like our dishes on a scale of 1-5. Enjoying spicy foods, I went with a 5 for my Spicy Basil Noodle Grouper. It was absolutely remarkable. As one who isn’t particularly impressed with most dishes, I have to say the food here was amazing. I could thoroughly enjoy the spiciness of the dish without sacrificing flavor. The cooks did an amazing job and Yuki was so kind and took excellent care of us. I would definitely rank this as one of my top 10 restaurants I’ve ever been to. Thank you so much for the dinner and service this evening.
